More laid back than Carnival's US ships, the Carnival Splendor attracts a large number of families and it's not hard to see why with its latest refurbishment. The ship has recently seen additions including waterworks featuring water slides like 'Green Lightning', a huge Serenity adults-only area at the back of the lido, Java and Juice (a coffee and fresh juice bar) and additional interconnecting rooms.
