Celebrity Solstice is a Celebrity Cruises ship, which was built by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany. She is the lead ship of the Solstice-class of cruise ships and her sister ships include the second ship of the class, Celebrity Equinox; and the third ship of the class, Celebrity Eclipse. The fourth ship, Celebrity Silhouette, sailed on her Maiden Voyage on 23 July 2011; and the fifth and final ship is the Celebrity Reflection.

The Celebrity Solstice registers at 122 000 gross tonnage and can carry up to 2 850 guests at double occupancy. She was the first post-Panamax cruise ship in the Celebrity Cruises fleet and was christened by ocean scientist Professor Sharon L Smith at a ceremony in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, in November 2008.
