The Royal Caribbean Independence of the Seas is a Freedom Class Ship which was debuted in April 2008. She was built in Finland in the same ship yard as her sister ships, the Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas and Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas. She operates from Southampton in warmer months and Fort Lauderdale in cooler months of the year.
